Privacy
Plain answers, no legalese-first. The short version: your memories are the product you own — not the product we sell.
What we collect
Your account email, the memories you choose to record, and the settings you configure. That’s the product — we don’t collect browsing profiles, we don’t run ad trackers, and we don’t buy or sell data.
What your avatar shares
Only what you allow. Trusted contacts see the memories you’ve recorded, after joining through your invite. Sensitive topics require identity verification you define. Your public avatar (if you enable one) shares only memories you mark public.
AI processing
Your memories are sent to an AI provider to power your avatar’s answers — Claude (Anthropic) by default, or a provider/self-hosted model you choose on Account → Ownership. Your data is never used to train models.
Storage
Recordings live in keylore-managed encrypted storage, or in your own bucket if you configure one. Vault items are zero-knowledge encrypted — we cannot read them.
Your controls
Export everything as a self-contained encrypted file at any time. Delete your account and data permanently, yourself, from Account. Your designated contacts are notified before anything is ever removed for inactivity.
